Unity Hospice 3rd Annual Honor a Life Tree Lighting

You are invited to Unity's 3rd Annual Honor a Life Tree Lighting as we celebrate those we hold dear. Bundle up, bring the family and gather around to honor a special someone, capture the spirit, smile at a memory and share in the holiday season. A fundraising event to benefity Unity's Care Programs, sponsors and families will have the opporutnity to purchase keepsake tags, remembrance ornaments, holiday wreath, and garden bricks to help raise dollars that will allow Unity to continue to provide the best end-of-life experience to our friends and neighbors in the communities we serve. 

Unity Hospice 2nd Annual Golf Classic

Attend the Unity Hospice 2nd Annual Golf Classic at Thornberry Creek, official golf course of the Green Bay Packers, on July 20, 2017. Registration is 8:30 am with shotgun start at 10:00 am. Fee for this four-person scramble is $175/player or $600 foursome and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, golfer gift, lunch and dinner. Interested in titling or presenting this event? Navigating the Waters of Grief - Spouse Loss - Evening

Navigating the Waters of Grief is a 5-week support group held in De Pere and is open to any adult member of the community who has experienced the death of a loved one. Meetings include such topics as common reactions to grief, memories, coping and adjusting to new roles, self-care, traditions and finding hope as related to spouse loss.

** Please Note - For each 5-week offering the group does close to new members after the first meeting out of respect for the group**

Mens Dinner

A Men’s Dinner is a monthly opportunity for bereaved men to gather for informal conversation and support. This program is held on the first Thursday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at a local Green Bay restaurant. Dinner is available for purchase off the menu.

Generations-Hope for Grieving Families

Generations – Hope for Grieving Families is a monthly program designed to support grieving families with children and teens ages 6 -18. Dinner is served each evening at no charge. Age appropriate groups are held concurrently for parents or guardians, teens and children. This program is held on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Green Bay area.

Grief Connection - Evening

Grief Connection is a monthly grief support group for adults which meets the third Thursday of every month from 1:30 - 3 pm or 6 - 7:30 pm in De Pere.

**It is recommended, although not mandatory, that participants first attend a 5-week session of Navigating the Waters of Grief.**

Volunteer Orientation

As a nonprofit provider of hospice care, treatment plus and grief support, Unity depends on the generosity of community members who share their time, talents and treasures to help carry out our mission. At Unity, volunteers of all skill sets aged 16 and over make a big difference every day. 

Unity provides a volunteer orientation at various times throughout the year to accomodate schedules. One of these sessions must be attended before volunteer work begins.  Our orientation dates for 2017 include:
