Boeckman will host her first NEW Dancing with Our Stars fundraising event at Cycling Brews, 1109 Honey Ct, De Pere, WI, on Sunday, May 18th from 1 – 4 pm. The public is welcome for an afternoon of music by The Bourbon Street Band, food from Paco’s Tacos and baked goods, craft beers, and raffles —all in support of Unity Grief and Education Center.
The Bourbon Street Band member, Randy Aschenbrenner, shares “Our band members have either been served by Unity or are very aware of their services. I personally lost my wife about a year ago to Glioblastoma and can attest to the amazing care Unity provided. From Unity’s nurses, social workers, and CNA’s, to the chaplains, each person was like family. Not only did they care for my wife, they also looked out for my wellbeing too. The grief counselors were outstanding as well, providing support as long as needed. My band mates have had similar experiences with relatives. Giving back to Unity through our free concert on May 18th is the least we could do, knowing that we can never repay Unity for the positive impact they make in people’s lives every single day.”
Together, let’s support Boeckman and ensure no one in our communities grieves alone.
