Unity Hospice Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary of Jack And Engrid Meng Hospice Residence

Green Bay, Wis. – Unity, Northeast Wisconsin’s leader in end-of-life care, will celebrate 10 year anniversary of its end-of-life care facility, the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence. The residence is named after the lead donors to Unity’s campus campaign.

The residence is the first of its kind in Unity’s service area. The residence features 12 private rooms,
each with private bath and television/DVD, along with 3 family rooms, kitchen and patio available for
resident and resident family use.

For over 35 years, Unity has been improving the end-of-life care options available to members of our
communities. While most of Unity’s patients prefer to remain at home with family and friends, more
than half cannot because of the lack of an appropriately trained caregiver, or they need critical and
compassionate health care services that cannot be delivered in the home. The residence will be staffed
with experts in end-of-life care.

Unity’s hospice residence is located on 34 acres in the town of Ledgeview. The campus also includes an
administrative office building, memorial gardens and walking trails.

Directions to Unity’s campus: From Hwy 172, exit county road GV. Turn south toward Ledgeview.
Travel approximately 2.5 mile on GV, turn left onto Oak Ridge Circle. Straight .25 mile and turn right
at the entrance to Unity’s campus.
