Unity Hospice to Open East Side Resale Shoppe

May 22, 2024

Unity, Northeast Wisconsin’s pioneering nonprofit healthcare provider, is excited to announce the expansion into a second Resale Shoppe location at 1302 S. Broadway in De Pere. This east side location, slated to open summer of 2024, will provide a meaningful place for the community to donate or purchase cherished household goods and clothing. The second Shoppe will enable Unity to reach new customers while enhancing customer convenience for those currently traveling to Unity Resale Shoppe West in Green Bay. The same level of quality merchandise will be offered at amazingly low prices.

Unity Resale Shoppe Manager Paakou Vang states “We are thrilled to open a second Resale Shoppe location which will provide even more funding to CommUnity Care, Unity’s financial assistance program ensuring everyone, regardless of financial means, has access to our compassionate care. Your donations of upscale and unique home décor, furniture, housewares, clothing, jewelry and antiques are needed now to fill the new Shoppe!”

Donations for the new shoppe can now be accepted at Unity Resale Shoppe West, 1641 Commanche Ave, Green Bay during store hours:

Monday – Thursday: 10AM – 6PM
Friday: 10AM – 4PM
Saturday: 10AM – 2PM

Unity is also seeking fun, energetic, and friendly volunteers to fulfill the daily operations of the store which include receiving, sorting, pricing, staging, and merchandising items, as well as greeting customers and cashiering. Every volunteer role is equally important and significant to ensure Unity efficiently fulfills its mission: to honor life by bringing peace of mind and comfort when it matters most. Orientation for new volunteers will begin in June.

If you are interested in joining Unity’s tremendous team as a volunteer and working in an inspiring environment for a meaningful cause, please contact Unity’s Volunteer Coordinators Kelly Lautenslager or Alison Bantes at 920-338-1111, or Volunteers@unityhospice.org.
