Luminary Walk

Easy! You can register by mail, online, or at the Luminary Walk on Friday, May 8th at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S Webster Ave, Green Bay.

A $35 registration fee is required for all participants ages 4 and older. This fee includes a customizable event t-shirt, raffle ticket, and food/refreshments. Additional fundraising is encouraged, but not necessary, on behalf of Unity Grief and Education Center, to ensure grief services are available to all in our communities at no cost.

All participants ages 4 and older will receive a walk t-shirt as part of the registration fee. Register by April 10, 2026 to guarantee your t-shirt size. After April 10, sizes and quantities will be limited.

You can register for the walk as an individual or a team. You will be asked if you would like to create or join a team when registering and can modify your registration to join a team by logging into your profile after you have signed up. Multiple registrations can be done in one transaction. 

When signing up you will be asked if you would like to become a fundraiser. You can become an individual fundraiser or join a fundraising team. You can customize your fundraising page and make changes to your team or goals at any time. Please note: registering for the walk as a team does not automatically create a fundraising team.

The Walk will take place at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S Webster Ave, Green Bay. Walkers will enjoy an evening stroll of glowing luminaries on our 1.5 mile loop. A wheelchair accessible tram will be available.

We would love to have you join from afar if you are not able to make it! Please visit the online registration page to sign up and select the "Virtual Walker” event. As a walker, we invite you to fundraise on behalf of Unity, to ensure grief services are available to all in our communities at no cost. Yes. Whether you are an individual, family, or business, many sponsorship opportunities exist to either honor a loved one or promote your business.

Due to the nature of this event, pets are not allowed.

Walk will take place rain or shine, except in the instance of severe weather. Check this event page for cancellation details.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND RELEASE

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Unity Hospice Luminary Walk (“Event”), I voluntarily agree for myself, my family, heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators to the following:

1. I assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, or personal injury, including death that may be sustained by me (or my dependents) or any loss or damage to any of our property as a result of participating in the Event.

2. I release, waive, and forever hold harmless Unity Hospice, Unity Grief and Education Center, and all of their agents assisting with the Event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees from any and all liability, claims including negligence, actions, demands, damages, expenses, attorneys’ fees, and all causes of action whatsoever, that I might have or may acquire in the future, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me (or my dependents), or to any of our property while participating in the Event.

I acknowledge and fully understand that there is a risk of injury or death in any sport including the Event and that I am physically fit and medically able to participate in the Event. I assume all risks associated with participating in the Event, including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, and conditions of the walkway and I waive all claims which I might have based on any of those or other risks of participating in the Event.

I grant permission to Unity Hospice to use my name, voice, and images of myself in any photographs, videographic or electronic recording of the Event for legitimate purposes. I understand there will be no refunds at any time.

No problem! This event is a community event and NOT LIMITED to families served by Unity Hospice. We encourage EVERYONE in Northeast Wisconsin to support the region’s only Grief and Education Center by participating in the Luminary Walk. The funds you raise by asking family, friends, and colleagues to sponsor you will make a lasting impact, ensuring everyone in our communities have access to compassionate grief support.
